Wonderwanderings

I wonder how life would be like.
No masks, no faces.
Just you, me, and the honesty we held at 3am in the morning.
No social security guard to tell you what to do,
and no fear within telling me to
“keep within the lines”.

To take away all fear,
all shame.
Leave us barren,
exposed,
without remorse,
without regret.
Innocence laid bare
for the world to see,
But only for us,
to understand.
